Einkaufen in Bern wird etwas entspannter
Gelockerte Ladenöffnungszeiten
Während Zürich über völlig liberalisierte Ladenöffnungszeiten nachdenkt, steht Bern vor einem ersten Schritt in Richtung Kundenbedürfnis. Ab Anfang des nächsten Jahres kann man sich unter der Woche bis 20 Uhr mit den Einkäufen Zeit lassen.
Ab dem 1. Januar 2007 kann man im Kanton Bern länger shoppen. Die Geschäfte dürfen dann montags bis freitags von 6 bis 20 Uhr sowie samstags bis 17 Uhr geöffnet sein, wie die Berner Kantonsregierung am Donnerstag mitteilte. Einmal wöchentlich ist zudem ein Abendverkauf bis 22 Uhr möglich.
Ebenfalls neu gelten für Imbissstände und Hauslieferdienste dieselben Öffnungszeiten wie für Gastbetriebe. Zudem hat der Regierungsrat zum Schutz des Verkaufspersonals einen Normalarbeitsvertrag in Kraft gesetzt. Nach wie vor besondere Regelungen gelten in den Tourismusorten, wo die Geschäfte täglich bis 22.30 Uhr geöffnet sein können. Die Gesetzesänderungen wurden vom Grossen Rat in der Junisession verabschiedet.
